Our work surfs the boundaries between radical and mainstream and isn’t for everyone. But if you’re frustrated that things aren’t working, recognise there are no simple answers, sense the potential of values-based approaches and are open to change…
One-off workshops can be a great starting point, but they can only take you so far. Establishing a longer term relationship with us can help you develop something profound, meaningful and durable that works for you and your situation. You will join a wider movement of people putting values-based approaches into practice, sharing their experience and learning from each other.
Our programmes blend advanced workshops with mentoring to support you integrate new skills and insights into your life and work.
New: Wholehearted: Wider & Deeper
Wholehearted: Wider & Deeper is an opportunity to widen and deepen your experience and learning of values-based approaches. The programme consists of:
- Two day residential workshop
- Three one hour one-to-one mentoring sessions (by phone or Skype) following the retreat
Wider & Deeper is for people who have been working with the wholehearted approach in their own environment and who now wish to explore how to take the concepts further. This is a unique opportunity for practitioners of values-based change to work together in a lightly structured environment. Participants must have attended at least one of the following one-day workshops:
- Being the Change: a Wholehearted approach to putting values into practice (formerly An Introduction to Common Cause)
- Virtuous Circles: a Wholehearted approach to social & environmental change
Wider & Deeper is available as an open programme and can also be offered ‘in house’ for an organisation or group. Check the calendar for the next dates for the open programme and qualifying one-day workshops.
Action learning programme
Our original, award winning, action learning programme – Communities with a Common Cause – was based on six 1 and 2 day workshops over six months. Supported by the Scottish Government, participants were from Bumblebee Conservation Trust; Greener Kirkcaldy; Keep Scotland Beautiful; Scottish Natural Heritage; Scottish Environment Protection Agency; Sniffer; Stirling University; and Sustaining Dunbar.
We are exploring potential for a second action learning programme – contact us if you are interested in sponsoring or participating.
